The difference between charging weight, volume weight and real weight

Solid weight refers to the weight obtained by weighing the goods. Generally, solid weight refers to our gross weight and net weight. Gross weight is the total weight of the product plus the package, and net weight is the weight of the product excluding the package. In cross-border logistics, the real weight usually refers to the gross weight.

Volume weight is the weight calculated by the volume of goods. In the process of cross-border transportation, the position of the transport vehicle is limited. If the weight of the goods is light and the volume is too large, it will occupy a lot of space. There is a formula for calculating the bulk weight. Usually the bulk weight is calculated as length * width * height divided by 5000 or 6000. Here, 5000 and 6000 refer to the bubble counting coefficient.

Billing weight is used to calculate the weight of the charge, and we mentioned before the actual weight and volume weight, generally take the value between the two as the billing weight, the specific charge depends on your commodity type and charge type.
